Requirements

To run the Elite SMS Gateway your system must meet certain requirements. A usual good indicator whether it will run on your system is whether Kannel will run on your system, as these are very similar packages.

Requirements:

• POSIX.1 Compliant Operating System (this includes Unix, Linux, FreeBSD, Mac OS X, etc)
• MySQL Server and client libraries >= 4.0
• PHP >= 5.2.0 with MySQL support (for web interface)
• Apache with PHP support (for web interface)
• Subversion (optional, for updated web interfaces)

Recommended server platform:

• CentOS 5.x 64-bit
• >= 4GB RAM
• >= 160 GB Disk space (with RAID-x for redundancy)
• Optimized MySQL InnoDB installation

For failover we recommend running a pair of machines with a MySQL slave available in the event of an outage on the primary machine.
